Overview

ClusterPing is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your network monitoring data should stay on your computer, and we've built ClusterPing to ensure exactly that.

Data Collection: None

ClusterPing does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data or monitoring information.

Specifically, ClusterPing does NOT collect:

• Personal information (name, email, etc.)
• Hostnames you monitor
• IP addresses discovered through DNS
• Ping results or latency data
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Crash reports
• Device information
• Location data

How ClusterPing Works

ClusterPing performs all operations locally on your Mac:

• DNS Resolution: Performed directly by your Mac to the DNS servers configured in your network settings
• Ping Monitoring: ICMP ping requests are sent directly from your Mac to the target nodes
• Data Storage: All monitoring data is stored only in your Mac's memory while the app is running
• Export Function: When you export data, it is saved to a location you choose on your Mac

Network Access

ClusterPing requires network access for its core functionality:

• DNS Queries: To resolve hostnames to IP addresses
• ICMP Ping: To monitor node latency and availability

All network communication is exclusively between your Mac and the nodes you choose to monitor. No data is sent to our servers or any third parties because we don't have any servers.

This Website

This website (clusterping.vercel.app) is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser type, etc.) as part of their hosting service. We do not have access to or control over this data. Please see Vercel's Privacy Policy for more information.

This website does NOT use:

• Cookies
• Analytics or tracking scripts
• Third-party advertising
• Social media pixels

App Store

If you download ClusterPing from the Mac App Store, Apple may collect information about your download and purchase. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours. We do not receive any personal information from Apple about our users.

Children's Privacy

ClusterPing is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. (In fact, we don't collect information from anyone.)

Data Security

Since ClusterPing doesn't collect or transmit your data, there's no risk of it being intercepted or stolen from our servers. Your monitoring data exists only on your Mac and is protected by your Mac's security features.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how ClusterPing handles data, we will update this policy and notify users through the app. However, we are committed to maintaining our privacy-first approach.

Open Source

ClusterPing's architecture is transparent. You can review our code to verify that we don't collect any data. See our GitHub repository for details.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Since we don't collect any personal data, there's nothing for us to:

• Provide in a data export
• Correct or update
• Delete or forget
• Share with third parties

You have complete control over your monitoring data because it never leaves your computer.
